The rates shown are the reference rates published every business day around 16:00 CET by the European Central Bank. They are not the rates at which you will actually buy currency: a bank or bureau de change applies a margin, typically 1 to 3%, sometimes far more at airports. Use them as a benchmark to judge whether an offer is fair.
